Arrived in one piece

Ja då kom man faktiskt fram till slut! Hel och välbehållen, men lite mindre fräsch och pigg.

Resandet har vid det här laget blivit en rätt så avslappnad grej, men denna gång hann jag faktiskt känna av både lite resfeber och chock när jag var framme.

Blev ca 9h väntan över natten på Mumbais flygplats (fråga mig inte varför jag fick för mig att inte ta in på hotel bara). Fick några sömnpauser, och efter något som kändes som en evig väntan var det dags att ta sista flyget till Pune som bara låg en timme ifrån.

Detta var mina första intryck, citerat från ett mail jag precis skickade till några vänner runt om i världen:

"First of all, my weeks before coming here have been crazy, with 4-5hrs sleep/a night because of alot of work and excersing . Because of that I never realised I was going to leave for India this soon.
 So when I came here now it felt like someone punched me when I faced reality.  I really thought Pune would be somewhat more like the the modern metropolitan cities in S-E Asia, but it reminds me more of a small Moroccan village. :-P

I didn't even bring much stuff since I thought it would be easy to find anything here as in China, Singapore  etc. I just went with a rikshaw (like a tuk-tuk) to their mall. It felt like all the food there was outdated. But got some "chewable" things anyways. I mean if Indians manage to eat the stuff so should I.
I think the experience will be good, since I suspect that I've lately started to take the western comfort and lifestyle for granted.  I felt so ridiculous getting upset about everything not working in the apartment, including the internet connection which comes and goes. Feels really silly now to complain about these "issues".  Hopefully the warm sun here will make me happier than I was last weeks in the Swedish "freezer".

Sorry, now it is enough with complaints and more focus on what can be learned from the country and the people here. It's gonna be interesting to enter a completely different business culture and society. I'm determined to analyze clichés, prejudices and actual differences ."

Det kommer att uppdateras regelbundet. Det kan inte lovas, men jag misstänker att det inte kommer vara lika fullt upp här, utöver jobb och träning, som det var i Singapore.
